Xiao Shi Xing Milk (MI·LU·KU) Puffed Adlay.
Red adlay (Job's tears) puffed under high pressure and roasted at low temperature. Made in Taiwan.
Condensed milk and lactose build a soft, layered dairy sweetness closer to milk candy than caramel. The adlay stays dry and brittle underneath. The only jar in the range dressed in Japanese livery.
No preservatives. No artificial colouring. No artificial sweeteners. Not deep-fried.
Best eaten straight from the jar. The grains are dry and brittle, not sticky.
Serving size: 20 g — about 7.5 servings per jar
Pairs with: hot black coffee, unsweetened tea, fresh berries, or as a topping for yoghurt or ice cream
