Pure Green is a single-varietal green tea, offered exactly as it leaves the garden — whole leaf, unbroken, and entirely unflavoured.
There is no blending here, no scenting, and nothing added. One tea, one harvest. Unblended tea leaves nowhere to hide inconsistency, which is a harder standard to hold than it sounds.
The leaf is whole and unbroken — no fannings, no dust, no chopped fragments. It is a difference you notice before you brew. Broken leaf releases everything at once and turns bitter quickly. Whole leaf unfurls slowly and gives up its character gradually.
Clean and gentle in the cup, with a subtle fragrance. Light-bodied and easy to return to daily.
Certified organic. 100g of whole loose leaf — ten 500ml pots.
Grown, processed and packed in Indonesia by WiskTea.
Whole leaf, unbroken — no fannings, no dust, no chopped fragments. Open the bag and see the grade for yourself
Ten full pots per 100g — each one 500ml, enough to share or to see you through a morning
Single varietal, unblended — no filler leaf, no blending to mask batch inconsistency
Small-batch processing — handled in quantities small enough to keep the leaf intact through every stage
Nothing added — no flavourings, no scenting agents, no blending oils
Certified organic — grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers
Easy to drink daily — light-bodied and gentle, with a subtle fragrance
Forgiving to brew — more tolerant of water temperature than most green teas
Leaf: 10g per 500ml
Water: 80°C — not boiling
Steeping time: 2–3 minutes
Vessel: Glass or porcelain
The one rule that matters: do not use boiling water. Green tea scalds at 100°C and turns bitter and flat. Boil, then leave uncovered three to four minutes before pouring.
Cold brew: 10g per litre of cold water, refrigerated 8–12 hours, then strained. Sweeter and softer, with almost no astringency — well suited to Singapore afternoons.
Pairings: Steamed and lightly seasoned food — seafood, dim sum, salads, soft cheeses, rice dishes.
Storage: Airtight, away from light, heat and strong odours. Do not refrigerate — loose leaf absorbs moisture and surrounding smells. Best within twelve months of opening.
